I understand there are logistical issues with the process mentioned to slow Syrian refugees from coming into the U.S. But Obama threatening to veto the bill to me is partially disturbing. IF it isn't clear enough already the terrorist threat to our borders, and the population continually crying out loud about our own countries issues like the homeless and the threat that already exists, Obama continue to be hell bent on being this nice to other countries President.

Am I crazy, or is Obama really that scary?

I thought congress voted against it? If he were to veto wouldn't that make it an issue settled in the courts? How much time would that take?

I think given how much of his own party is also opposed he would do well to lose gracefully than to fight. I think he is angling for a political role after his term so I don't imagine he wants to make too many strong enemies. It's probably an empty threat even if he means it.

Can we survive another 14-months of this joke of a president? Or maybe....can he survive another 14-months?
Never has there been such a divisive American leader, hell-bent on tearing down every facet of our society.

If your commie pals, Reid, Schumer, and Durbin can take over the Senate, they will kill the Bill, and defy the American people once again.

Reid has already said he will not allow it to come up for a vote.

You need to go back to Fed Government 101 and see how a bill becomes a law, did you know there are 2 houses in congress?

"I thought congress voted against it?"

People should check on things and keep with what is happening before looking foolish.
