Sure, although you have moved the goal posts considerably....Looking at Nobel prizes, we have some in Chemistry, Physics, and literature. From my own professional field, theres been a ton of Muslims who have advanced the science of chip manufacturing, design, and software development.
I will agree that they have slacked off a lot recently, but I think thats more of a lack of resources then anything else as of late. Although some of the richer states have had some pretty good contributions in Architecture and science.
