Another stupid poll. I don't understand why people ask poll questions that could be answered by a simple yes or no, but then have to put all kinds of qualifiers on each possible answer.
My answer would have been simply no.
It could have just as easily been a simple yes.
Maine is an open carry state; we can also carry concealed without a permit. And I have thought of getting a handgun for personal protection when we're out hiking and here at home in rural Maine. I haven't decided yet.
So, at this point in time, my answer would be no. But it's not that I'm against guns. I just don't carry one ... now.
The poll options you posted are horrendous since it seems you want to shame those that don't own guns such as myself and never needed or had the desire to own one.
By the way Cops can be just as reckless with a Gun or did you not see that video from Chicago this week?
I'll stick to my Light sabre though!
Dumb poll options. Where's the plain old "No" option?

One thing I'd like to say to all you sensitively offended ,is maybe you should wear a pin saying "this is a gun free zone."
I personally find the poll quite informative and encouraging.
Thank you for the opportunity to have this assurance, that so most do carry.
Flawed poll. There are insufficient choices for "no." What if I wanted to say "no, I'm not interested in guns?" Or "No, but I'm thinking about getting one," or, "No, but I own guns," etc. You make it impossible for the "no's" to answer, thus your poll is skewed.
