You are right but you are wrong! Transporting is illegal!
BUT:
There is Not a Single Federal Law Defining Gun Trafficking as a Crime
Transporting a gun over state lines is not illegal. I have transported my own hand gun over state lines when I moved. There are laws that must be followed, depending on which state you are traveling through, and you have to have proof that you are "just passing through" in some states on your way to your final destination.
Thanks i am gad you have recognized my abilities!!!!!!!!!

STOP THE IRON PIPELINE--- WOULD MAKE A GOOD SONG! IMO
Yes there IS, it's right there in the PDF! ONLY federal laws apply to transportation over state lines, THEY are the only ones that can make those laws. When you take guns across state lines that's TRAFFICKING! When you buy guns to give to others in the same state, that's STRAW PURCHASING and trafficking doesn't apply. Are you talking about trafficking into Mexico like Obama and Holder did? There have been bills proposed for years about that. It is already illegal but not enforced.

Yes there are special situations and protocols for doing so, but we are talking about obtaining them in another state and traveling to another to get rid of them. BTW, this OP is about guns going to Mexico..It's nothing to be concerned of because that is also already FEDERALLY illegal because it would involve straw purchasing among crossing state lines and country borders.

I know what you're talking about, but if the OP is going to come across as unhinged, then I'm going to make sure that his words are not misread by others who don't know that you can, indeed, legally transport your firearm across state lines, and that is NOT the same as "trafficking" them.
