This is from 1990.....not sure what could be talked about that hasn't already been said about this....it seems to me that you might be spending too much time looking for anything Islamic.
Might? I think it's clear he is. He's running out of material. He had to go back 25 years to find something. LOL
Another day another hateful anti-muslim thread from golimar, tell me something would it be ok to assume all people from pakistan are hateful anti-muslim? I mean i know your not a representative of them but why don't we consider you just like them? How do you feel about your own home country housing bin laden? I think we should bomb pakistan as they have been housing and helping out terrorists. Good ???
What a primitive people, running to the West and fantasying like that. What's ironic is if British society did even remotely to the Muslims what this man preached for Christians, he'd be the first to cry racism.
OK lets look at some of these universal human rights, and see if the us meets them...

Article 5
No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
waterboarding.
Quote:
Article 7
All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law. All are entitled to equal protection against any
discrimination in violation of this Declaration and against any incitement to such
discrimination.
By now most should recognize that theres two types of law in the US, one for those with money, on for those without. If you think otherwise you are fooling yourself.

Article 12
No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks upon his honour and reputation. Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks.
The NSA. Need I say more?
Quote:
Article 17
1. Everyone has the right to own property alone as well as in association with
others.
2. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his property.
police seizure of property without a person being charged with a crime is pretty arbitrary in my opinion.
Quote:
Article 23
1. Everyone has the right to work, to free choice of employment, to just and favourable conditions of work and to protection against unemployment.
2. Everyone, without any discrimination, has the right to equal pay for equal
work.
3. Everyone who works has the right to just and favourable remuneration ensuring for himself and his family an existence worthy of human dignity, and supplemented, if necessary, by other means of social protection.
4. Everyone has the right to form and to join trade unions for the protection of
his interests.
a RIGHT to protection against unemployment. At will states ring a bell folks?
Section 2, discussed many times here, equal pay.
but look at 3. does our minimum wage give people an existence of human dignity? We've been debating that here. most comprehend its often not true. The argument then becomes one about how they should better themselves.
Quote:
Article 24
Everyone has the right to rest and leisure, including reasonable limitation of working hours and periodic holidays with pay.
holidays with pay. Read it. many of us do not have that at all.
Quote:
Article 25
1. Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and
well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security
in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or
other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.
2. Motherhood and childhood are entitled to special care and assistance. All
children, whether born in or out of wedlock, shall enjoy the same social
protection.
yeah. Universal healthcare is basically a REQUIREMENT to meet this.
go read article 26, higher education will be equally accessible to all on the basis of merit.
The US would be a better place if we met these. Right now? We get about 70% I think.
I'll note you never did address my earlier question to you.
Where does waterboarding fall into this declaration?
I concede US is just as evil. You have successfully managed to give Muslim countries a free pass once again by making a false comparison.
