Before everyone gets paranoid, this country was founded by Christians has always been a Christian dominant society so I don't see what's the problem? If people would stop trying to make everybody connivance all the time ! Do you think if I move to Iran they'll stop praying to the east three times a day just so I can have my Sunday in church there?
Which "Lord" is she talking about? I have never been and never will be a Christian and have always resented having to say a Christian prayer, as well as the odious "Under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance at the start of each school day.
I believe this form of “socializing” is completely inappropriate for a school system meant to educate all students from any and all religions. If she wants her kids to believe in religious propaganda she can send her kids to a private religious school for proper indoctrination. I’ll send mine to a school free of Christian and other religious nonsense.

We are not a theocracy as is Iran.
Of course YOU don't see a problem, because YOU are not Hindu, Muslim, Jewish, Bhuddist, or any other religion other than christian.
Separation of chuch and state.
Schools are state-run and mostly funded through real estate taxes.
Individual kids can pray at home before school or any time they feel like it.
Group prayer...NO.
Not even with 'exemptions', since those children will still have to listen to the prayer.
Will they be able to leave the room? Probably not.

The fact they they were Christians is irrelevant. It matters what they wrote into the Constitution.
And who cares what Iran does? We don't use Iran as a model for our behavior.
If you don't like aspects of the Constitution, work to have the amended, don't just ignore the parts you dislike.

I guess the problem is: you don't see the problem.
seems like people are so accepting to live by a dictator.
