I got this from a staunchly conservative friend on Facebook! (Not surprisingly, it has not shown up in the mainstream media.)

Denouncing it in public is one thing. What they teach their kids in their own home and in their mosques is another.

I want to see them publicly denounce and out those imams who actively recruit for ISIS in their mosques. I want to see them hand over their kids as soon as they see suspicious activities happening at home. Until then, talk is cheap.

I guess the glass is always half empty for you.

As an analogy, I'm glad to see the Catholic Church speaking out against child molestation by their Priests and leaders. I see that as a positive, with more work to go, but I don't devalue the progress they've made.

I guess for you, as long as you can find someone to point the finger at, "they are all bad"?

If the Muslim Imams were molesting Muslim kids in mosques, we could care less.

The problems with the Muslim community are much larger than that. You can't have a public discussion about Islam without having additional security. The Ex-Muslim Atheist society in US needs a special vetting system to protect themselves from Muslims. Molly Norris is still in hiding. Rapes all across Europe if women are not covered head to toe.

We don't know what they're doing in private. They may very well be reporting suspicious activities, at least some of them. I'm hopeful that enough of them are tired of the blow back every time something like this happens that they will seriously do something about the terror in their midst. It's getting to the point where people aren't going to want them in their countries because of a few extremely violent bad apples.

well it is a start. but until the vast majority of muslims speak out against violence, and start to do something about it themselves, then islamofacist terrorism will continue unabated.

This is in Indonesia and a quick search revealed huffpo to be the source. According to the article, they have had a branch in NC since Dec 2014. Any idea why it has not taken off with American muslims? Do they even know about it?
