Yes.

I love anything to do with the Civil War and the decade before it.

Of course, I am Scarlett coming down the staircase in a long beautiful dress!!

If you were born in the '70s, you have been too young to remember disco music and afros (both of which I can do without).

As for me, I would have liked to been born in the late-'30s or early-'40s so I could enjoy the 1950s.

I'm going to get a little bit philosophical... I think I'm one of the luckiest guys to have ever lived, and who knows, maybe to ever live, depending on the world's future. I was born in the United States in the middle of the 20th Century. That's being pretty darn lucky. I mean, I could have been born 2,000 years ago with a life expectancy of 35 years, or born in Pakistan or Tibet. But no, I was born in America. On top of that, I was born a healthy white male. In America, that's the top of the food chain. Minimal discrimination, maximum opportunity. To go even further, I was born into a reasonably comfortable middle class family and had a decent mother and father.

The one misfortune I have had is that I do not possess enough academic aptitude to take full advatage of my good luck. On the other hand, I'm wise enough to comprehend and appreciate the great good fortune I have had.

I would not want to change a thing but if I had to I would go with the 1950's.

Great time for America, families and one of the best generations of Americans ever produced.

If we could go back to the 1950's with some tweaking America could be great again.

The Mesozoic Era and the Jurassic Period.

So I can give the dinosaurs easier names to remember.

(So I don't feel so dumb when talking to my 4 year old nephew. )

The late 60's, like right AFTER MLK got shot, since that's when stuff honestly started to improve for black people. So I could enjoy the 70s.

I would like to have lived in the 40's and 50's. Other than that, perhaps the early 1800's. Sadly, I would have died in childbirth had I lived back then.
