We could always build a pipeline from Antarctica to the Arctic and pump all the extra cold water northward. Oh wait. I forgot about Obama's skepticism about pipelines.

At the current maximum predictions of 2.9 mm per year, even after 100 years the oceans rise would only be about one foot. There is nothing we can do to stop the ocean levels from rising, nothing.

The technology is there for us to move away from relying on fossil fuels for transportation, we need fossil fuels to get certain jobs done, but really, people commuting to work or just driving from point A - B should be using hydrogen or other alternative technologies.

Understand that we will never see this happen in any significant form. The world elite, who run the show and own governments worldwide including ours, have no desire to end fossil fuel dependency.
