Millionaires have contributed to the common good outside of tax liabilities. Throughout the 20th century up until now, billionaires have contributed a boat load of money to organizations for the common good. Billionaires have built universities and funded causes, such as prizes to incentivize innovation. Plenty would write this off as just a tax write off, but rich people do this because they understand the importance of philanthropy. Leftists should study Game Theory.

This is not why I'm not concerned about inequality. Rich Americans understand why it's fundamental to help the unfortunate ones in society.

Rich people being generous doesn't fit the progressive narrative, therefore it can't exist...

Why don't Republican casino/oil/etc billionaires give to charity or want to give a % of their wealth away to improve the world? They would rather put their money in political dark money Citizens United contributions to squeeze the life out of regular americans and make themselves richer. These greedy conservative billionaires should learn from liberal billionaires such as Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Warren Buffett, etc.
