Do you realize how stupid you sound? Being on a watch list does not mean you committed a crime, and that the government can strip you of your Constitutional rights.

I applaud the NRA. Every decent American should just ignore our lame-duck, incredibly divisive, worthless President. He isn't worth anyone's time any more. He is an abject failure and a national embarrassment.

Obama can go to hell.

Or have you forgotten what happened when the NRA made a public proposal to make schools safer from lunatics? They proposed a sensible solution of having armed personnel at schools, as the only way to stop a bad guy with a weapon, is with a good guy with one.
I'm 100% second amendment and this isn't my first comment in this thread. This is a horrible idea. We do not need guns everywhere.........I'm not against carry. I am against over reactions that will do nothing wherever they come from.

Maybe someone carrying stops the shooter at 12 people as opposed to 18. The solution is to stop them before there are any and the best way to do that is through better mental health coverage.

Are you saying that it's ok for the government to strip the Constitutional rights of 40,000 people without due process of the law?

Guilty until proven innocent worked well under Hitler, Moa, and Stalin

You sir do not respect the US Constitution.

The word is out worldwide that the US is the place for terrorists to shop for firearms!

Read Obama's proposal. You might especially like the section on, " Make our communities safer from gun violence," since that is a concern of yours.

Obama lies. He could magically come up with a great solution and it would be dismissed as he can't be believed.

"You can keep your doctor if you like your doctor". You can't stand in front of the American people and lie like that and ever expect to be taken at face value any longer.

That's the problem with lies and those who have no problem lying.

You are protecting terrorists? A citizen can get themselves off a terrorist watch list easy enough through a redress program. Getting off a Government Watch List - How to Land on the Government Watch List | HowStuffWorks

Further proof that you are guilty until proven innocent.

Can you name another Constitutional right that a citizen must petition the government to get back without due process? How about not letting Muslims build Mosques in America because we know that many have terrorist networks operating in them?

Due process

Quote:
The Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment is exactly like a similar provision in the Fifth Amendment, which only restricts the federal government. It states that no person shall be “deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law.” Usually, “due process” refers to fair procedures

If a person on the watch list is proven through a court of law to have violated a law, or be an enemy combatant, then and only then can they be stripped of the Constitutional rights.

I bet you are ok with Executive Order 9066
