I see one reference to the gun but how does one steal a police officers gun? I'd like to hear the story about that.
Usually happens when the police leave them in a less than secure place, sometimes they just lose them and I'm sure report them stolen rather than be fired for losing their gun.
Seems like quite a coincidence that both the NJ state patrol and Flint Michigan report missing 17 firearms. Did they just decide that 17 was a good number, not too high, not too low to be unbelievable?
