The photo of Lady Liberty giving the middle finger, shows Cruz was right! Dont use the Statue in such a crass way, even if you are mad at what he said.

Cruz wasnt ready to handle that question. But he was right..... NO ONE questions the courage and character of New Yorkers in hard times. Everyone pulled for them when 911 happened!
But "values" fall in another category! Look at who they elected twice as Mayor...Bloomberg!! And then that wasnt enough.....they elected cop-hating DeBlazio!!! A socialist??? Anti-police, pro-choice, pro-gay marriage....... Yes, they have a different set of values than the rest of the fly-over states!

Look at who they elect to Senate seats.....look at how they supported Obama. Yes.....their values are different.

Folks always pull the 911 card as a trump....(pun in intended) But your values and your character under fire are different.

Cruz made one of the biggest political F up's I've ever seen, he stepped on his dyck so bad, I was literally laughing out loud when I was watching the debacle called the debates. I don't have a dawg in the fight but to say what he said about NY was just silly, he was obviously reaching out the stupid religious right with that dumb ass comment.

I wouldn't vote for that guy if he was the last person standing.....

What did Cruz say that was off base? Are New "Yoika's" not a bunch of Liberals? Are they not Pro-Choice? Are they not Big-government? Are they not pro-gay marriage?

Everything Cruz said was spot on, it isn't his fault that the general population doesn't have enough brain cells to distinguish the difference between what Cruz said and recognize that what Trump said in response was a non-sequitur. Sure, New York firefighters and police are some brave people and really showed courage on 9/11, doesn't have anything to do with the fact their a bunch of Liberals.

Re: Cruz's remark that "not a lot of Conservatives come out of Manhattan"... I said that along time ago and it's why I've never trusted Trump.

You can't be serious about being offended by the photo, If it were the other party doing it you wouldn't have any problem with it. Why do you care if they elect socialists, do you live there?

I do not think NYC is make or break for Ted Cruz... The rest of the nation, even northern NY State know exactly what he meant and agree.

Ted Cruz could careless what NYC, thinks of Ted Cruz. Did you think he was going to win that district, before he said it?

Hate to say this, but I have friends who hate anything New York, including there SPORTS. Cannot stand the State, why I have no idea. Yes they are known to be liberal, and have idiots running the damn STATE. Which State doesn't.

I have friends who also agree with Ted, and many others who will not admit that they do.

And on the other end of the spectrum, I have friends that love anything about New York, think N.Y. is the best State on the planet Best State to visit, best eateries best city.

I like the State, because of course being Italian, tons of Italians there, and some fine Restaurants that I have eaten at. A lot of Italian deli's bakeries eateries, which my State of Calif does not have.

We have some, hardly compare to what N.Y. has to offer.

My State is as liberal as they come too, damn it.

He's a political hack and I couldn't even begin to care less... anyone that has been in politics as long as him and Rubio are a bunch of tit swilling asshats that don't know how to find their azzes with both hands.

How that for not caring. The only people in the race that really matter are the former governors and Trump, at least those guys have actual responsibilities and have to be accountable for something. You can be a senator or congress man for decades and not do shyt and still manage to keep a paycheck coming in.

I hate NY and Texas for the same reason. The people of both states take state pride to an obnoxious level. What makes New Yorkers worse is even new residents to the city of NY quickly develop this obnoxious attitude.
