Yes, I'm expensive. But I'm sure there are other Americans who will do it for less than I will. In any event it's proof that there's no shortage of workers.

This is why the west needs to take in more refugees.
So basically you want the United States government to suppress wages as a matter of policy.

And people wonder why there's wealth inequality.

The Somalis have to realize that assembly work requires near complete suppression of the worker. The only breaks allowed are for food, water, bathroom call. Religion is not on the list.
There's your clue "for the salary offered". That is why these greedy employers hire foreign refugees or illegal aliens. They can pay them less and it increase their profits. This BS has got to stop! We need protection for our own American workforce. One's religion shouldn't be on the list for special accomodations and that should be made known from the get-go. If you can't abide by an employer's rules then don't apply for a job there.

I say that government and corporations are in bed together. Corporations want cheaper and cheaper labor, and the government wants to turn us into an open border third world they can control.
The only people who are in bed with the corporations are the liberals/Democrats. They want to import 50 million cheap labors so that poor Americans can eat dirt.

Stop voting for the liberals/Democrats!

Do you understand the rationale of our and European immigration policy?

It's all a labor cost issue packaged in cultural rhetoric.

Global capitalism is in full swing and western labor cost is high and workers entitled. This requires an open border policy to keep bringing in cheaper labor. In European case, it adds young people they desperately need.

Our immigration policy is wrapped up in what is PC and societal guilt.

No it really doesn't require cheap labor.

What utter nonsense! Capitalism does not negate our immigration laws. Our American workers are not overpaid nor do they have an entitlement mentality. It makes no sense for employers to hire cheap, illegal workers while putting our own citizens out of work who are largest consumers and tax payers in this country. We don't have an open border policy. Our government just hasn't enforced our immigration laws as they should have.

They walk off because they know they will still be fed and clothed and have a place to live. 100 years ago they would have gone hungry without a job. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see what liberal programs are doing to every part of our society.

Most illegal immigrants take those jobs which no one wants. Any large scale employer needs to follow procedures for e-check as well as their own internal policies to hire. So the only imported immigrants have training in areas which they can get the correct visa. Might have a lot to do with the cutbacks in our education systems.
I see them mowing lawns, cleaning houses and saving money like crazy then opening small businesses. Just like every other immigrant group which came to our shores.

The GOP and hard right push their fear of THEM to scare their base.
