I did hear him explain, early on, the policies he would employ to get Mexico to pay for the wall. He has also talked quite extensively about getting the country back on track, making trade equitable, building up the military, improved/expanded benefits for vets, healthcare, the education system, many of the agencies, plus more.
Do google it to find out the details if you want to know. Maybe you're late to this and haven't been following?
Check on what he has said (he doesn't divulge his plans in detail, for good reason), but has said enough for us to know he has strategies.

He inherited his wealth. If he had been born without wealth no one would have ever heard of him. He only is where he is because it was handed to him at birth.

So, he wants to build an expensive wall, increase military spending; increase benefits for vets, healthcare, the education system, etc., --- all while putting forth a tax-plan that slashes a trillion dollars a year from revenue.
I honestly think he's trolling most of the time. He knows how to get attention and how to entertain, and that's what he's done his whole life. I always wonder how much of what he does is intentional, because it's obviously working for him.

Good questions. The other concern is that Americans can't seem to see through him and are falling for him hook, line and sinker.

Numbers don't reflect contractors.
Contractors have equaled or exceeded US military in combat zones since the Balkins.
He was born into wealth and he's an attention freak. He made himself famous so people would pay attention to him. Had he not been bailed out by really smart bankruptcy lawyers, he be one more guy who blew his inheritance. Instead, he's on TV saying, "Look at me! Look at me!"
I'm holding with the position Trump has no intention of being POTUS.
