I was responding to the poster who posted "if the victim was white, he could have gotten 30 years" it is baseless. if the police officer got 15 years, that is maximum penalty already.

Yes. You are right. The max penalty is 15 years, not 30.

I tried to tell you people, Chinese people aren't fans of white people.
You just said that you believe they were unfairly singled out. If that is the case, why should they like those who would do that?

Try convincing the world that Asians in America are treated worst than blacks.

What really got his behind in a sling was the fact that Liang and his partner spent the time after the shooting trying to figure out how to cover their exposed behinds instead of rendering assistance to a man that Liang shot because he was too damned afraid of his own shadow. On top of the fact that they disobeyed orders by patrolling to high rise in the first place.

Asians receive very little extra help (AA) in any field. In fact some universities set an upper limit for Asians.
Sports industry and entertainment industry in the US have no reserved quota for Asians.

Hollywood movies often put a "black scientist" there, or a Hispanic hero, but you will never see any Asian hero saving white women (though the other way round is relatively common). If it is not a Kung-fu movie, Asians cannot play any major role either.

Because the Asian population is small, politicians usually do not pay much attention to them.

So it's time for Asians to start dispelling the stereotype that they don't speak up, are only good in academics, speak bad English and lack confidence.

If America prides itself on being a melting point of different cultures, it should act more like it instead of allowing the perpetuation of institutional white racism.
