We won't need to swap any money, we'll just balance accounts.

Oh, I don't know, you seem to be doing a reasonably good job of baiting....

Run for office! Politicians pretty much do nothing while acting as if they are, they get paid, and a single term will hand you a lifetime of pension payments... money for nothing and checks for free!

Yea, baiting and sarcasm would be about the only arguable reason for this thread. Unfortunately, there are a few million voters who believe exactly this... which is a scary proposition.

The fact that Bernie "nothing but rhetoric" Sanders could possibly become the DNC nominee is sending normal rational people on both sides into a tizzy.

Saddest part is it's only $53k. The middles class is fading away. $53K, what joke in 2016. Should be double that at least. And yes, I realize we're talking median and not average.

Well, just elect Bernie so he can raise the minimum wage high enough that the median income is double that.

Whats the logic behind "at least double" that? $100K is a good chunk of money, and not to minimize the work any one person does, but I think there are a ton of jobs out there that don't justify a 6 figure salary.

All that money out there and I want more but cant get my hands on it. How do I vote for someone who will find a way to take money from them and give it to me?
