Democrats and the endless obsession over "approval ratings" from the crooked pollsters who call a few hundred land lines then make broad based generalizations not based on any scientific methods.

How did that work out for you in 2016?

(they make their money by telling the easily influenced what they want to hear)

Yet Individual 1 brags about poll approval ratings and crowd sizes in his favor.

Trump brags about approval rating hours after Bush’s funeral: ‘Working hard, thank you!’
Quote:
Hours after listening to heartfelt eulogies from family and friends about George H.W. Bush’s integrity and compassion, President Trump reminded the world that things were looking good for him. That is, at least according to his preferred polling outlet.

In a 10:32 p.m. tweet that was short on words but big on font size, the president tweeted a graphic on Wednesday noting that he has a 50 percent approval rating. The source, listed in considerably smaller text in the photo, was Rasmussen Reports, a polling outlet that has often painted a friendlier outlook of Trump and his performance.

The problem? The president’s approval rating is more likely to be somewhere between 39 percent and 43 percent, according to recent polls from several different outlets conducted this month.

actually pretty well. a lot of polls were within the margin of error compared to the popular vote.

And the popular vote should be the only vote that places anyone in office. The majority did not want this orange jerkwad.

When you can't win, change the rules. That's your party's motto.

there's actually been multiple attempts during every modern administration, from both sides of the political spectrum, to remove the electoral college.
