Daily Presidential Tracking Poll - Rasmussen Reports®

The methodology only measures likely voters and shows that 39% of people strongly disapprove of the job Mr Trump is doing. 35% strongly approve.
On this date in 2010, 49% approved of the way Obama was carrying out his duties.
Oh, goodie, the majority of the old folks with their landlines approve.

Meanwhile, you consistently ignore the aggregate polling--you know, an aggregation of ALL the polls, not just the senior citizen one.

Here, let me help you with that:

Approve: 42.6%
Disapprove: 54.0%

Rasmussen, as always, is a big outlier. What a shock.

Reality is not quite so rosy, huh?

LOL, no it doesn't. Trumps numbers are not above 40% and that is only becuase they ask only his supporters.

Yes, if you're going solely by Rasmussen, that's exactly the demographic they poll. The numbers are pretty paltry even within the demographic that is his base, huh?

Reality is, Trump is President of The United States. And Rasmussen shows his support to be 51%. It used to be 44%, but now it is 51%.

Rasmussen is an outlier. They are the only poll who speaks exclusively with likely voters.
Gallup, another outlier, shows 39%, but they speak to adults - you know, the people who will graduate from high school in June.

Uh, Bud, I think you missed the point.

If they only polled Trump supporters, wouldn't his approval level be real close to 100%?

On 4/18 Trump's stands at 50% approval and 49% disapproval.

There have been lots of guesses and accusations leveled at Rasmussen. Despite clearly stating their methodology, Rasmussen must deal with people who will not read what is placed before them....

..........Daily tracking results are collected via telephone surveys of 500 likely voters per night and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. To reach those who have abandoned traditional landline telephones, Rasmussen Reports uses an online survey tool to interview randomly selected participants from a demographically diverse panel.
