It seems that for fiscal conservatives, hilary might actually be a better candidate to support than Trump. Hilary is Republican without social conservatism, liberalism without economic socialism. Trump, on the other hand, advocates for policies that are not aligned with the interests of fiscal conservatives.
If Hillary is elected not much will change in the country, fiscally or socially. She's never accomplished anything of substance in her political career and is unlikely to make any major changes if president. Clinton is a safe bet and a known quantity which is why establishment types like her.
Trump on the other hand is a wild card. No one really knows what he thinks or will do regarding fiscal policy. He is really a Liberal, but is totally un PC. His appeal is turning the status quo on its head, which appeals to many, many voters, but scares the hell out of the political establishment and crony capitalists.
Neither are in any way fiscally conservative. I'd say both are fiscally moderate to liberal. Hillary is more socially liberal and Trump socially moderate to conservative. From my perspective there is almost nothing to like about Hillary and while I don't support Trump either, his foreign military policies are better. But, that's the only thing I like about Trump.

Pretty much this. Trump is playing Russian Roulette. Hillary is crony capitalism. I pick Trump over crony capitalism. I'd love to see him shake up the foundation, rock it to the core. I'd love to see him place, for example, per trade taxes on all stock/options trades... a dollar a trade. Kick high frequency traders on the nuts. I doubt he'll do anything to rock the status quo though despite what he says.
Trump is better with foreign policy like the above poster stated. He'll also be better with domestic affairs. Hillary takes the worst part of social liberalism and polishes a turd with it... welfare for blacks and people who pump out kids... as far as giving back freedom, such as finally decriminalizing marijuana, or broad tax cuts for people who actually work, she's not going to do any of that... all she'll do is empower the democrat voting base... the welfare state. She'll fix nonexistent social problems, if she does anything at all. Nothing of it will be of any use to anyone who posts here unless you have 4 kids and are a single mother.
The republicans by in large curry favor to the top 1 to 10% earners, while the democrats pander to the bottom 20-30%.. the middle 50-60% or so get the shaft by both parties by in large, generally speaking.. It's why Trump has gained popularity and you see stuff like this...

Stockwiz :
Great post. I share most of your positions here. The flash boys definitely have to go. I'm in favor of throwing them off a 90 story building onto moving traffic below.....
If Trump runs the country in the same fiscal manner that he has run his campaign to date I would be happy.
The easiest thing in the world to do is spend someone else's money......and the rest of creeps running have never made a dime of their own.
I can't wait for the NASDAQ and Nikkei to correct by 40-50 percent so I can watch all those in the status quo wither in a pain threshold when 401k's and Pensions take a humongous beat down. Little do they know.....they won't come back like they did in 2009 -2011

The sides are so messed up.
Where's the sigh smiley?
The I'm a fiscal Conservative garbaghe is just that, along with being a cop out for some Liberals. The fact is that liberalism, by its very nature, embraces social programs and, therefore, expenditures of other people's money.
One who's socially liberal cannot be fiscally conservative.
Hillary will be more of the same ol same ol and we will essentially have 4 more years of Obama but worse. Trump wants to build the wall but there is little doubt that Hillary will give amnesty to millions of illegals who will eventually get the right to vote.
There is a lot riding on this election and both Hillary and Trump are not the best candidates but I believe Trump actually has the best interest of the country at heart (if the country is running strong it is good for business) while Hillary wants to be president to feed her ego and fill her wallet at the expense of us all.
Hillary has been a politician for most of her life and it has made her rich. She has lost touch with the common man. She hasn't driven a car in decades.
Trump has been down in the trenches duking it out in the business world and has become very successful. Of course if the going gets tough with the economy he can't have America file for bankruptcy.
Trump would handle the fiscal side of America better if he runs it like a business.

Everyone is all for fiscal conservatism, until it affects them personally, then not so much.
When they did the bailouts in 2008 it's like they were bailing out themselves, the status quo... keeping all the same people in power who created all the problems. Keeping themselves in power. Now years later the bubbles are just bigger, and transferred from the private sector to the federal debt, who is the spender of last resort to prop things up.
I'd love to see Trump "flush the toilet" .. a good depression and trimming of the fat, not only in government but in large corporations. Unproductive, corrupt people at the top exposed and eliminated from these positions. Everyone would blame him and he'd go down as a bad president for not trying to pass off the problems to the next guy though. Maybe this is all in my head and the stock market cheerleaders are right though... everything is fine. There is no global debt crisis at all...
