You see, parents aren't too keen on having their MINOR kids FORCED to involuntarily submit to FELONY indecent exposure while in their own school, in their own community park district facilities, in state park/campground facilities, etc., ALL supported by the taxes they pay.
This law will not hold up, removing that ability to sue based on discrimination based on sexual preference. First couple that is refused service this will come to pass, it's already backfired with the loss of business.
Other cities already have these laws, the special situations created are just drama.
Unless that man is a trans man, then he is required by law to use that bathroom now.

I know of one man who turned himself into a woman.. he was a rough looking man.. when he got sick he regretted changing his sex.. he was very unhappy . He changed his whole body.. he died with great remorse.
Many truck drivers pooled money for him to see a shrink..the shrink told the guy - do what you want.. he did and his daughter wound up in a mental ward .. she had lost her mother and came home one day with her father dressed as a woman..put her over the edge. She was vulnerable mentally when her mother died.. and then her father became a woman..

Buck was BORN a woman and is partially transitioned, but is legally a woman. Buck is now REQUIRED BY LAW to use the ladies restroom in NC.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. The Illinois school district fiasco is creating a HUGE backlash, even among usual Dem voters with school-age kids, and even blue state Illinois will be looking to pass legislation that protects MINORS' right to NOT be sexually abused in school.
How long have we had single-sex locker rooms and showers in schools? Keep it that way. Have male genitalia? Use the boys' facilities. Have female genitalia? Use the girls' facilities. There is NO way it's appropriate for a male to expose his genitals to MINOR female students in a girls' school locker room, shower, or restroom. State laws, in fact, identify such as FELONY indecent exposure.

Not all state allow changes to birth certificates, and you have to go to the state you were born in to change them.

And yeah, if you look like that but keep your female vulva and refuse penile surgery then your transition is NOT complete. If you take hormones, have your breasts removed, do everything else to change your body to match what you feel is your inner gender identity, then why stop at the genitalia? The rest of the world does not have to confirm to the wishes of a fraction of a percent of confused people.

What universe are you living in? Are boys generally opposed to using locker rooms and bathrooms with other boys? Funny how men's bathrooms everywhere since forever have urinals out in the open, if men everywhere consider that indecent exposure. For children who are shy about undressing, there are a few individual stalls, but in these transgender cases we have people who refuse even single-use gender neutral bathrooms. They want to bully their way into locker rooms and restrooms when there's already an alternative that suits both sides. Anyway if you are so concerned about indecent exposure in single sex locker rooms, why would you want to ADD to that and make it mixed sex?!
You are also ignoring that men are generally stronger than women, and that while women can be violent and predatory it is overwhelming males sexually preying on females not the other way around.

It's very expensive.
FTM is not easy.
FTM has functional issues post op.
He isn't willing to take that risk.
He just doesn't want to.
The point still stands that Buck is now required by law to use the ladies room. Where as before he could have just went to the mens room and no one would have raised an eyebrow.

So let me get this straight, there are individual stalls for children and transgender children to use, but it isn't okay for a transgender person to use these stalls?
You also seem to forget that we are talking about teens here, and not adults.
If you are concerned about men in the women's room, then I hate to break it to you, the W on the door isn't going to stop a man from entering that wishes to prey on women. Also, if you make it so transgender can't use the restroom they identify with, then how do you know that man in the women's restroom doesn't have a vagina or was born a woman?
