What surprised me about the map was the location of non-Islamic countries that make being gay illegal, a few are popular tourist spots on our side of the world.

I would buy that if entertainers didn't perform in those countries due to those very reasons. But in reality, it's all about money and when it comes to the US, they hope they have enough sway to weigh in on political issues by boycotting events/states/etc... They call it a form of activism, i call it hypocrisy.
