_"Get Ready for Higher Obamacare Rates"_

It reassuringly adds: "But don’t assume it means the Affordable Care Act is a failure."

No... this is why we need the government out of the health care revenue stream.

The whole goal of ObamaCare is a bait and switch scheme that will leave them as the sole provider and controller of health care. They just had to be dishonest and NOT tell us that single payer is the goal.

Yup, government ****s up, and instead of realizing that government fails miserably, we empower government to just expand.

Why is it that some people can be beat upside the head with a baseball bat and think the remedy is to use an even bigger bat next time?

"Hit me again Ike, and this time put some stank on it."

No worries.

Trump promices to "replace ACA with something wonderful, that will take care of everybody and the government will pay for it".

They are not experts in this field. They will not be efficient in their operations.

Without competition and motivation for profit, customer service will be crappy.

The field of extracting maximum profit from a captive customer base? You're right, that's best left to JD's and MBA's.

God forbid the public sector provide public health services to the general public.

And why is it they have captive customers? It's mandates and the lack of competition that is partially to blame for rates sky rocketing over the past few decades. If the government required you to get comprehensive insurance on your car and severely limited how many companies can provide that insurance what do you think is going to happen to your rates?

Obamacare may have partially solved the competition issue but they have doubled down on the mandates. On top of that they a forcing insurance companies to accept anyone which is fine as long as everyone is paying into the system but that hasn't happened....

The government has been screwing this up for decades and you want to give them more power? pfffffffffffft
