What are you going on about? I'm simply saying that making English the only official language would be rather unfair, considering the US has acquired territories where English is not the primary language, or not the residents' heritage language. Whatever happened in the past is no cause to be unjust now. I should hope the US government would have learned from, for example, the Indian boarding schools travesties.

My thoughts exactly, regarding the owner's English-only policy.
Well, he might be in violation of labor laws regarding use of language in the workplace. That's "might" - it's not clear.

You didn't answer my original question referring to your assertion: "it's illegal aliens and their anchor kids who are more likely to demand this and that cause of their criminal minds."

So what are they likely to demand this and that? They're really not in the position to demand this or that.

This is called the red herring argument. Nice try with a logical fallacy.

This is actually a great example of why we no longer need protected classes. The shop owner quickly changed his policies when negative publicity was the result of his policy.

It's not about protected classes, it's about possible labor law violations.

Making English our official language IS fair; if talking about voting, welfare and so on.

Illegal aliens are criminals and; many times that way of rolling is passed down to the kids, in that it's Ok to lie and cheat the system.
