But it's your choice if you don't value your liberty. Just stay away from mine.
An interesting position for someone busily defending McCarthy in another thread.

...Come on bruh. It's pretty transparent at this point when Trump is the nominee. Kinda part of the culture war going on...

I admire your courage in taking such an extremely controversial stance, but I can't help feel you didn't really line up an alternative.

McCarthy didn't violate anyone's rights. And you apparently know little about McCarthy.

Those of you who blindly worship the Founding Fathers as if you were in a cult are constantly talking about their exceptionalism. And you refuse to see their expediency. It has nothing to do with being in a different era. It has to do with their flowery prose versus their earthy reality.

Thomas Jefferson is one of my heroes. I've been to Monticello numerous times, read much about him, respect him above all the other Founding Fathers. But he was an imperfect man who impregnated at least one slave, nearly went bankrupt and pretty much went insolvent before his death, and did not live up the words he was responsible for.

Are you asking people in Canada or America about rights?

America does have the Bill of Rights........this is given to all citizens.

However, insulting someone's political beliefs because you believe the opposite (especially on a political forum) is quite a different thing than insulting someone's religious beliefs because you believe in nothing.
You assume I'm not religious. You couldn't be more wrong. I'm just not your style of religious.
