Should Colin Powell be charged with treason because he used AOL? Of course not. What they did is not treason. Treason is purposely betraying your country. Is he or she had deliberately sent classified information to the Chinese, like Snowden did, then it would be a different story.
Is this because she sent work emails through her personal email account? I also believe that there was no rule against doing so when she did this. Maybe it was not something she should have done but I don't see what the uproar is all about??? Anyewy, I think the OP needs to Google the definition of treason. Good luck.

She didn't send work emails through a personal email account, she set up an unsecured and unapproved server in her home for the sole purpose of running a separate email system which would be more difficult or impossible for people to access later down the road.
She didn't just email a few people using her Hotmail account by accident.

Thanks, I'll have to research this after work today to verify. I have to vote soon and do not know if it should be Bernie or her. Both have positives and negatives but the ultimate goal is for one of them to win come November. The alternative is frightening! Cheers.
