There is record numbers of people receiving government assistance.
When are we going to have a real recovery for the working people in this country?
Boy, I bet you were REALLY REALLY DOWN on George WTC Bush as the economy crumbled and fell due to his utter mismanagement, huh? I bet you were saying, "DAMNED THOSE REPUBLICANS!" Yeah, I'll just bet you were.
So, considering the UE rate is significantly down since Obama restored the economy, it seems a bit ungrateful on your part not to congratulate the president...
Wonderful. I guess we can go ahead and cut off all the handouts then.
I am sure this that you mentioned, along with capping Congress pay is not part of the the plan to get us out of debt. After all, President Obama has proposed a raise for every living President. If this passes the Bushs and Clintons will be richer!
I think I am becoming sick of Presidents and office holders, their jobs make them rich and we the people struggle harder each day.
4.7% unemployment. Payrolls rise to 38,000. Thanks, Obama!!!
I hope this is sarcasm because the economy isn't that good. The U-6 is still at 9.7% unchanged from April. I wouldn't be shocked if most of the jobs that were created were seasonal part time service jobs. This isn't news to get excited about.
Thank them for losing control of the House and Senate putting the adults in charge. Funny how things didn't turn around until after they lost control and their spending spree was ended.
Or are you thanking them for 6 years of whining about "Republican obstructionists" blocking what they wanted to do? Good thing they were blocked since according to you the economy is doing great now. If they had their way the death spiral that was going on since the democrats gained control in 2006 would have continued.

Only a captured government drone could put out a report showing only 38,000 new jobs created, with the working age population rising by 205,000, and have the balls to report the unemployment rate plunged from 5.0% to 4.7%, the lowest since August 2007. If you ever needed proof these worthless bureaucrats are nothing more than propaganda peddlers for the establishment, this report is it. The two previous months were revised significantly downward in the fine print of the press release.
Mean while the day before ADP reported an increase in private sector payrolls of 170,000 or so. The 38,000 will be revised upward over the next 2 months.
I am watching people willingly changing jobs with ease as there are more and more people hitting retirement age. Those with degrees in accounting services, health care and management (both retail and IT) seem to have the best opportunities. Salaries for people in those fields as well as most college grads are rising.
More and more people are entering the workforce than leaving it. Thats what happens when the population increases.
When the elite start paying their share of the country's expenses and the multi-billionaire business owners start paying their employees a decent wage, that's when.
Paying their fair share? Lol, yeah the person who is getting $1200 back without paying a cent in is contributing more than the person paying $250,000 in taxes - in bizarro world.
