As much as I dislike the Westborough folk, what have they done other than silent protests at funerals? They certainly haven't killed anyone. They haven't even preached that people should kill anyone--they merely claim God does it.

So why should there be an equal amount of media obsession?

Simple...because the media sees coverage on major incidents like the Orlando shooting as a huge ratings grab.
