Call them on their bluff...as they take out 50 innocent people with them and the terrorist dies. But at least he was scared when he died!
They value their own lives, they just want to make you think they don't. Go after everything they have, everything they own & every family member in the world & guess what.....this nonsense stops. Someone earlier suggested we adopt destroying their families' home like Israel does. I don't think that would make a difference. Especially if they're estranged from their families.
It does make a difference. In same cases the family, concerned with possible retribution will make efforts to convince the mad dog to abandon his plans. Sometimes they'll even ask the authorities for help.
What people don't know is that these (mostly deranged losers) aspire to become martyrs in the eyes of their families and friends. They don't become terrorists out of the blue. Many are considered the black sheep of the family. There is a background to this behavior. Successful, healthy and loved people are not common among ISIL. Once losers, they gain the status of sainthood following their act. This culture is at the foundation of all massacres.
