I find the whole generation x y z thing just stupid. There isn't even official dates to when one generation starts and ends (exept for the baby boomers). The entire generation thing doesn't make much sense at all and I don't get why people take the labeling so seriously.

So labeling the one group you agree should be labeled is okay but the others you think are stupid to be labeled should not be labeled?

There should be official dates for them but otherwise I disagree. I am actually on the border between Generation Y and Generation Z, sometimes I'm classified as a Millennial and sometimes I'm not. However I identify with the people older than me (Millennials) more than Gen Z kids. Being in 1995 I'm usually the last year for Gen Y.

But we can prove with the Boomers and Gen X they have important political tendencies, which proves its at least important to note.
