Many kids have 2 parents of mixed race. How do some have to choose which group they belong to because a label nerds to be put on them.
Isn't it time to leave race of a drivers license?

you needed to add on your poll the answer "who cares".

I would have answered that.

canadian citizen is correct. It is very different in Canada and should be held up as an example.

FWIW, in America we don't have race on our licenses either.

The OP is making a claim that cannot be substantiated. Nearly every American poster has stated that race is not on their license. The OP is making up stuff in order to start another race based thread.

None of them listed my race. They only list eye color, hair color, height, and weight and they have a picture.

Where is the OP getting that driver's license's list race?

What state(s) list race as a part of their DLs?
Same here in Arizona. ^^^

In Colorado, hair color doesn't make the cut. It's only eye color in addition to the old standards, height and weight.

My family has had DLs in California, Hawaii, Alabama, Louisiana, Kentucky, Kansas and Missouri. Race has never been on any of these licenses, the photo ID is much more valuable than race.

I looked online and it seems only 1 state MAY show race on the DL and that is Nebraska.

http://www.dmv.nebraska.gov/dvr/pdf/undrstnding.pdf

Center of second page has information regarding race abbreviations on a DL. Maybe someone from Nebraska can chime in.
