Why would anyone be put on a no fly list, without a warranty for their arrest?

Is this the new guilty before proven innocent thing, that this place called America has turned into?

Other than the rather foolish typographical error (at least, I hope it was a foolish error), that is a very good question!
the same applies to the "Terrorist Watch List".

Personally, I find it more than a little frightening that there are so many citizens willing to give up their
Constitutional rights. Perhaps it is because of the feeling that "It isn't MY rights being violated, it is those other people!" I wonder what they will say in the unlikely event that THEY find their name on such a list, and THEY lose their rights!
I rather imagine that there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth!

What is a warranty for arrest?

I can see a no fly list...for those people who are potential flight risks... those who have demonstrated a potential for violence based upon past behavior...those under active investigation and whom have made threats against fellow Americans...
I can see felons of the dangerous kind put in tbe list reducing their ability to travel freely among us

I can see a process for judicial review where the burden is upon the government...currently it's all secret and that makes it a violation of constitutional provisions and illegal

That's why the bill was voted down in both the Senate and in the committee at the House. No due process.

This was the bill that a bunch of democrats held a 26-hour demonstration in the well of the House last night and today. Apparently they weren't really concerned with due process.

(They terminated their sit-in to play in the annual House baseball game... You can't make this stuff up. )

It's not new.

The no-fly list had 1,000,000 names on it under Bush... and a lot of them were merely people who disagreed with Bush or the GOP.

Please show me data that the No Fly list ever had over 1,000,000 names due to Bush. It did increase after 9/11 but does not today even have close to that. You may be confusing it with the Terrorist Watch list.

These suspected individuals are not send to jail. You can't send to jail someone who didn't act yet. But if you know what they are planning or intend to do, better be cautious. No fly an no weapon licence is not terrible. Better be safe then sorry.
