Just like all media garbage I'll await the several independent investigation on this one..including the very aggressive justice department....
As far as the article posted by the op...
I read it.. I'll wait until every one of those assertions is vetted and found to be true or false....
If he was indeed carrying an unholstered weapon on his lap and moved when he was told not to... there remains the possibility that use of deadly force was justified...but as others have stated...believe nothing until it all comes out..
The GoFundMe site was interesting....fraud.. theft by trick or device...? It remains to be seen
The girlfriend was bizarre and making a cameo for her lawyer
Not quite: until the source is identified and the CCP is verified. I have trouble with anonymous 'sources' as proof of anything. This needs to follow due process to completion.
realistically.........."reaching for a gun".........I would not shoot someone until I see a weapon. If mine is already aimed he still has no chance to shoot me before I shoot him. If its someones life.......give them the benefit of doubt. If I am too slow to outshoot his "draw"...........I should NOT be in law enforcement.
This has to be the biggest ignorant goofball statement
We wait to be shot first...
Oh..OK
Not
Nor does your statement square with law
Get educated ...please...you could sit on a jury one day...
When a cop pulls over a suspected robbery suspect, the officer doesn't tell the driver the real reason he pulled him over. Why tip the driver off? Instead, the cop gives the suspect another reason for the stop. It happens all the time.
I've been "pulled over" at least 10-12 times over my driving history. I don't recall any officer saying anything to me when he approaches the vehicle other than - may I see your license.
It can vary after that - but they always ask for the license first.
One thing is for sure - I ALWAYS do exactly what they ask, and I don't speak until spoken to.
I've also called the police a couple of times - they want to see my license/ID then also.
You are proving your childish posts have no validity.
Again I've already told you it doesn't matter.
Again I never brought that subject up in any of my posts only because, unlike you, I know what matters in this case.
Answer the question it's real simple - why does it matter if he has a permit? You wont answer this because it would expose your nonsense.
Again what matters is, did he reach for his gun.
Why does it matter? It shows the desire of the local police force to try and paint him in a negative light even though he had done nothing wrong outside of having a "wide set nose".
See how easy that is? He should have NEVER been stopped in the first place.
Now, just because you do not have a permit from one county does that mean you do not have a permit?
This has to be the biggest ignorant goofball statement

Pretty much how It was handled in Vietnam...........Read closely Sherlock.......I did not say wait to be shot. If your a law officer in a position of commanding field of fire..........waiting to see a weapon is NOT gonna get you killed..........it will get him killed.
I have been on a jury............and not just the kind you are referring to........

All experiences can vary. They don't always ask for a license first. I've heard, "out of the car", hands out of the window, out and hands on top of the car, get out here, go sit on the curb, what the #%@& do you think you are doing, do you know why I pulled you over" etc, all before some request for an ID.
