It's started again with American kidnapped in Afghanistan after Obama paid ransom to Iran.

Australian was kidnapped also in the same incident. Safe to say we can expect an uptick in kidnappings and Obama set the going price of 100 million each.

Obama is salivating in his mouth on hearing this news. Another opportunity to empty Gitmo and let more Jihadists walk free.

That was not a Ransom. It was a return of illegally seized private accounts to their original owners. the transfer was made in cash because we and the rest of the world do not have any banking connections with Iran.

If Obama paid a ransom, he'd just be following the precedent that Reagan and W.Bush set.

So pay the damn ransom and stop whining about it. Then leave Afghanistan to the Afghans.

Is that so hard?

dd - I agree but I would extend leaving the entire Middle East to the Middle East. I would also let the Muslims of the world take care of their problem with the Fundamentalist ISIS/ISIL rebels, along with the Saudi royal family, as they have others in the past. It is their fight not ours.

It was legally seized money. The money was then laundered and payment made just like a drug deal. We didn't have banking connections because it was against the law. Had any privet citizen done this they would be prosecuted and found guilty of material support to the enemy. This is clearly against the interest of the American people and consistent with Obama's anti American policy to do as much harm to America as he can with the time he has left in office. His legacy is equal to Benedict Arnold.

It's legally siezed money because WE seized it. LMAO

And for what? We overthrew their democracy, installed a dictator, trained their secret police, and subsidized brutal repression of them for 25 years. Then we financed a war (not initiated by Iran BTW) against them and gave their opponent chemical weapons that killed thousands (maybe hundreds of thousands) of people. But THEYRE the bad guys?

Americans have incredible myopia and short memories.
