Sanders was never a Democrat, and despite sporadic attempts to fan the flames, the primaries were not rigged, and Sanders never claimed they were. He endorsed Clinton.

Though Sanders made a Facebook post about a "political system in which a handful of very wealthy people and special interests will determine who gets elected," this is hardly an observation that millions haven't made.

Top Democrats did try to make Clinton’s nomination as inevitable as possible. Why wouldn't they? She was a Democrat.

As to the Democratic party being in chaos -- what else is new?

Judging by the elections so far, it looks like Democrats have a shot at taking the House in November.

If so, the new committee chairs will likely spend the next two years investing corruption.

Then we'll see which political party is in disarray.

I live in the Midwest (Kansas City), which was one of the areas that was instrumental in putting Trump in the White House. This area was solidly read in 2016. But I can assure that people here are suffering from "buyer's remorse."

Last night's news here started with people whining about the rising gas prices. (Thank you, Dear Leader, for pulling us out of the Iran Nuclear Deal, which caused gas prices to soar.)

There have also been frequent stories here about China's tariffs against American agriculture. (It will wipe out the farmers here.)

The Republicans will pay in November.
