So, he wouldn't protect the lives of his family by killing a person trying to kill those family members?

Pknopp's daughter, "Daddy, would you kill a man who was attacking me with a knife trying to kill me?"

Pknopp, "Killing is killing, so it would be wrong for me to kill your attacker."

I fundimentally disagree with this.

not all killing is the same.
if a person is a complete innocent and is killed by a willful act, that is not the same thing as what American soldiers did in WW2.

Killing a person who is a proven murderer, is nowhere near the same as that murderer taking an innocent life.

The fact is they were robbing someone they had "befriended". Wood knew the victim was going to be killed.

Have you actually read and considered anything I've said? If you did you wouldn't have asked this question.

We can protect society without killing people. A murderer is separated from society. There is nothing more to gain by killing them.

Bank robbers commit other crimes while in prison. So we should just dispense with prisons and kill everyone?
