it seems many people think there should be no trials when it comes to rape cases and a person should be sent to jail on a woman's word alone

Yes there has to be more than a person's word alone after the fact to distinguish between consensual sex and rape.

I am very much aware that women can victimize men by falsely claiming rape. But what if this woman really was raped? Every accused man is not necessarily a rapist, but some of them are.

Plenty of guys are predators and drunk girls are the wounded gazelle. Women need to know that getting drunk puts them in danger, but it doesn't mean they deserve to be raped.

Huh? Did you read the article? There was a trial.

And by "honestly dealing with the issue" you mean always accepting the accuser's version of events and never questioning her too closely about what actually happened, right?

Yes and the SJW didn't like the outcome or the judge.

Canada has no tolerance on being politically incorrect but some said they have freedom of speech there.

The one who cries rape is always the victim, no matter what the circumstance was.

In this case, it's what she said v.s. what he said.

I usually agree with your posts, but I don't see how any of that is really relevant here with the judge asking questions of the accuser. Of course males have to pursue sex by nature and by cultural factors. If they didn't it would almost never happen, or never happen for them.

It didn't sound like it was a jury trial though. It said Camp acquitted him, not a jury. Assuming that is true, coupled with this guy's comments during a rape trial about sex and pain going together, I think there might be a reason to look into this.

If this had been a jury trial, I'd be with you 100%.

Need context for the "sex and pain going together" comment. It could've meant sex can lead to remorse, but that doesn't make it rape. Looking into it is one thing, but requiring another trial, micromanaging a judge's every comment and decision and demanding a judge to be removed from his post is another.
