There are still a lot of people who don't kneel before the SJWs. For them, Halloween has become the perfect time to go full-scale anti-PC. Just google offensive Halloween costumes and you'll see numerous parties dedicated to being as "offensive" as possible.
What I see on Halloween is a bunch of females who dress as "sexy kittens" or "sexy nurse" or "sexy blah blah blah". I never understood that.
You're black. Wear a KKK or Confederate uniform. It will tick off folks.
But that poster said that he lives in an area where confederate flags fly everywhere...inferring that this wouldn't be a big deal. So who is he offending?
Think he's gonna head to a black neighborhood? Not that it matters. Drunk revelers hardly give a damn what anyone is wearing on Halloween.
I personally like the costumes that took some actual thought & creativity. Especially when it takes you a moment to realize what or who they're dressing up as. There was a girl dressed up as the princess on The Neverending Story. Pretty simple costume but she was so happy when I went up to her & said "Good costume". Apparently, no one seemed to have a clue who she was.
It's no big deal. I'm of mostly Scottish ancestry, but some Chinese guy dressing up in a kilt, isn't a matter of concern
Forgive me my ignorance, but is the kilt related to some historic oppression impacting Americans? Are there people who may have a visceral response to seeing someone wear a kilt?
I'm thinking if there is, it's not the same as wearing a rebel uniform in a racially mixed neighborhood, or wearing a Nazi uniform in Skokie.
