Most low income workers work jobs that were never meant to be a career. Some personal ownership is involved. At some point most of us made ourselves more skilled, more marketable. That's why we have better, higher paying jobs. I understand that some people lost good jobs to the global market, but lets face facts. WE have need for certain skills and can't get people to train for them. Industrial mechanics, heavy equipment mechanics, industrial electricians etc. Work 2 menial jobs and save some cash and go to school. I did and now I make 80 grand a year and I really don't work that hard.

True, but you also have those people who think everyone with a degree in fine arts will land a high paying job. Some might, just not the majority. They chose poorly.

wrong. Median student loan debt is 27k, half a years pay or less when they start working. I incurred 7 months of my first salary too in debt decades ago, paid it off in 8 years. No biggie. Same as buying a new car.

I have never made anywhere near $27K a year working, let alone a half year.

I'm going back to work because of potheads...so some other potheads can become uber wealthy..because I've been taxed to death because of potheads. Now working on retirement five I'll be paid by potheads tax dollars

So then I can retire again to get away from the same potheafs that ruined my beautiful state

That's potonomics 101

Any questions?

Oh..and my degree has paid for itself in retirement...about 2500 extra a year forever...or until my expiration date
