The labor dept just announced that new jobless claims in the most recent reporting week came in at 199,000. That is the lowest number since 1969 - over 50 years! The evidence of the coming Biden Boom is undeniable. Thanks, Joe!

That’s great news. The economy is steadily healing itself.

I’m hoping the Fed will consider raising interest rates in the near future to tame the inflation and stock market mania.

Many people are still getting pandemic unemployment money and extended unemployment benefits so that is not counted as initial claims.

The report does not talk about the work force.

https://www.dol.gov/ui/data.pdf
During the week ending November 6, 40 states reported 334,750 continued weekly claims for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance benefits and 41 states reported 151,556 continued claims for Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation benefits.
..
The largest increases in initial claims for the week ending November 13 were in California (+4,690), Massachusetts (+2,269), Pennsylvania (+1,994), Minnesota (+1,202), and Wisconsin (+907), while the largest decreases were in Kentucky (-8,712), Tennessee (-4,001), Ohio (-3,315), Michigan (-3,230), and Illinois (-1,184).

One would have thought so but it's right there in the DOL report I linked.
Pandemic Unemployment Assistance, Pandemic Emergency UC, Extended Benefits and State Additional Benefits are all listed with numbers of people getting money from it.

As of Nov 6 they are still getting money.

The economy doesn't turn on a dime, seeing progress after less than a year as president is good news. There was a lot to correct, and it looks like things are starting to turn.

You live in fantasy land, the reason the numbers are low is due to Brandon paying everyone more to stay home. He is destroying America with his Marxist ideas and the fools that follow him believe everything he says. People who support this administration are complete ignorant fools. America ia in very serious trouble and it's all because of Brandon. Wake up or you will soon be living in Cuba.

He hasn’t started anything.

Payments to stay home are from the Trump era.
