Looks like the world is concerned about Trump's economic plans, although no one knows what he will actually do.

The All-Powerful Bond Market Is Getting Rocked by Trump

Government bonds fell globally Thursday following a sharp selloff in U.S. Treasurys, as investors reacted to the prospect of increased fiscal stimulus under a Donald Trump presidency.

While much of Mr. Trump’s policy agenda remains unclear, the president-elect has promised infrastructure spending and tax cuts. Many analysts say that such spending should boost bond supply, economic growth and inflation, potentially hurting fixed-income assets.

Will US survive his policies? If he does what he says he will do, we'll be in big trouble.

We better hope GOP keeps him on a short leash.

Can't really blame Trump for anything just yet. He's not in office. He's not even capable of taking any action that would cause chaos in any market anywhere. It is 100% the people buying and selling stocks and bonds and commodities and other crap. If they decide to have a sell-off panic, then it's going to make a mess. Sure. But they did it.

I remain doubtful that Donald Trump can be an effective president, but the man isn't even president yet for Pete's sake!

They are speculating on whether or not Trump will do as he said he will do, and many are selling fearing he will keep his word.

This has been happening for months. I've pointed it out a few times.

We survived 8 years of Obama's bumbling and divisiveness. We'll survive 8 years of Trump.

I understand all of that, but ultimately it's on them, not Trump.

I'm not terribly optimistic about Trump's presidency, but I'm at least willing to hold off blaming everything on him until he actually takes office.

He isn't even in office yet and you're already blubbering and ready to jump ship.

Markets routinely overreact to political events. Happens all the time until sanity restores stability within a week or two.

Equities are at a record high/bonds are down. What a surprise -- nothing like this has ever happened before.

So far, against all predictions, I've made money in the market. The big stock market crash that Dems and the media screamed about fizzled out just like HRC's candidacy. So, now MSN expects us to get scared and blame Trump because investors are causing markets to do what what they are doing? Like T-310 said, he's not even President yet!

If Trump does what he promised, he will likely be good for the economy. I will continue to give him the benefit of the doubt and the gloom and doom prophets all the attention they deserve.
