I know how many Republicans feel, but wondering if these issues (emails/clinton foundation) are troubling also to Democrats, or if they feel she should be above the law.

The investigation needs to continue as a matter of national security. The email case involves highly classified documents. They need to find out who sent and received the documents, did they have security clearance to read those documents, confiscate all forms of the documents, and find out if they ended up in the hands of foreign agents. Then there's the Clinton Foundation investigation involving bribery and other potential crimes. Select friends of Bill and foundation donors received US State Department funds for the Haiti relief and then channeled some of that money back into the Clinton Foundation instead of spending it to help rebuild Haiti. There are many other forms of crimes involving the Clinton Foundation and the investigation may sweep up Bill, Hillary, & Chelsea as well as current and former Clinton staff and Foundation execs. Look for some of those execs, staff, and even some below those positions to turn over whatever they have to avoid possible jail implicating the big fish.
