Guess he's not against those Muslims after all. Think he'll change his mind on illegal immigration next?
You might see him borrow Ted Cruz's idea: no immigrants from countries involved in ISIS situations.

His web site has been a living document all along and has diverged from some of the red meat he has been tossing to his base. Anyone looking forward to the deportation of 11-12 million illegals will likely be disappointed.

Trump is not going to be as bad as some fear nor the great savior that some expected.

Here it is, folks:

"Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on."

Usually people would call a candidate a liar for not fulfilling campaign promises, but in this case they are thanking God Trump is backpedaling on his biggest promises. In other words people are happy he lied, and will NOT go forward with his promises. Of course I feel sorry for those who voted for him for the reasons he never intended to fulfill. They were duped.

Here's more:

He will not be able to cancel NAFTA. Big agriculture, manufacturing, services all export lots of goods and services to Mexico and Canada. Despite what Trump campaigned on, NAFTA is a two-way street.

He will not be able to reopen factories in the Rust Belt. And even if a few new ones are built, robots and automation will reduce the number of employees needed.

He will not be able to put a 45% tariff on Chinese imports. The major corporations have too much exposure in China and tariffs will kill them; a trade war would crash the stock market.

He played to his base just like HRC, except he did a better job.
Anybody with any common sense should have known that no one was just going to round up 12 million people and deport them, and that there is no way to check anyone's religious preference when entering the country.

And here is the proof you people just hate Trump and don't know what you're
talking about, all you do is try to make him look bad, it's all lies from you people.

JUNE 2016 (hint: it's November now)

Trump clarifies his stance on a Muslim ban, saying he'd bar only those from 'terror states'

Of course he's backtracking. On this and other issues. It was 95% BS anyway.

Except for his SCOTUS promise, nothing will change much, including immigration. He will just do what Obama did - nibble around the edges with EOs.

IMO, all the rest was just loss-leader, it was always all about SCOTUS.

They both played to their base as always-he didn't do it better; his base was just more gullible and they actually believed it. That's the problem: many in his base did not have common sense.

It's a shame because I think they will be sorely disappointed when he doesn't deliver those things. I know not ALL his base believed it but I've got a good pack of relatives and facebook friends who do.
