I am gonna go out on a limb and say your opinion isn't rooted in anything factual other than being able to list a bunch of random historical names....but it seems like you really believe this regardless of what anyone says....

What I got out of it is that the progressive mob can attack that person, rather than me with my self-defense firearm. I'm not a yokel or a tough-guy, for the record. I'm a not-so-strong female. There's nothing 'boorish' about having the best tools available, should you need them.
Meantime, my poor, traumatized, anti-Trump daughter who lives in freaking New Hampshire, says she's afraid to go out of her house. Not because of the protestors, but because of Trump. SMDH. I knew she disagreed with me politically, and know she's a very different person than I, but this knocked me out when she stated it a few days ago. Need to find out what I did wrong asap, so my younger kids don't end up like this!!! I guess the bright side is that she's not out there rioting.

I do not generally consider myself to be a dangerous person, but I am glad that I manage to scare so many without ever having owned a gun.
Someone should tell the militias in middle America that you can be terrifying and dangerous and not have to spend money on firearms.
LOL! I am a 50 year old woman, 5'7" and about 115 lbs. NOBODY is going to be intimidated by me. By all means, please share your secrets!
As far as your view that only middle America has guns:
1) My cousin was a police sergeant in East Oakland, CA. He said that they would be out on a call and hear gun shots going off in the distance. They never drove to the location, because if they did EVERYONE would run away (innocent and guilty alike). They would just have to wait to get the dead body call. Sometimes the shooters were aggressors and others were just protecting themselves.
2) My husband grew up in a bad area of Southern California. His sister was shot 5 times in a drive by (wrong place, wrong time). He friends that survived (most died or are in prison) and are still in the area are all well armed. We are not talking ivory tower kids here. They all grew up with single mothers on welfare and street fighting nearly every day of their lives for survival. They will do what it takes to protect their family.
