Shouldn't people learn a little about it before commenting?

Isn't it really condescending and irresponsible for someone to tell you how to do things without even trying to know what they are talking about?

Yet again and again, we hash and rehash the same ignorance of the left.

Let me just add, everything has exceptions and nothing is absolute. A few exceptions don't change the generalization. Let's not talk about the semantics that I didn't say "some" or use the word "most."

Why do you assume that everyone on the left lacks knowledge of guns? Why do you think everyone on the left dislikes guns? I am a liberal person, and I have plenty of knowledge of guns, and even own a few. Maybe it is YOU who lacks knowledge of the left?

I do lack the knowledge of the left because I can't understand how the left can be this condescending and ignorant. Maybe you can trach me a few.

Your anecdotal example proves nothing.

Same. I'm fairly liberal and have several guns. I also support background checks on all sales.

Right there! Primary example of ignorance- supporting background check.

Yep, they think it actually works. Until they realize most laws only burden the people that don't break them in the first place. Criminals don't care about gun laws.

How was I condescending or ignorant? In your post, you ASSUME that everyone on the left hates guns and knows nothing about them. The very fact that you have 2 liberals (already) telling you that isn't true disproves your ignorant point.

And I don't know what trach means?

I guess Fox News hasn't shared the fact that liberals own guns too. Fact is, if you have nothing to hide, a background check should be no problem for you. Why someone would oppose that is beyond me.

You sound like someone who wouldn't pass a background check. Fact is, you shouldn't care if you have nothing to hide. Some of us don't want people with a history of mental problems getting guns for example. You are perfectly fine with that, which just proves who is showing "ignorance" here.
