Liberal's identity group politics are ruining everything. You can't even watch a ball game or go to the theater without a race-based protest or riot breaking out.
As a post-truth Trump supporting fascist, you have zero credibility at this point. This was a defense of our American liberties, not an "attack" - and a perfect example of how freedom of speech WILL be exercised in this country while we still can. If the fascist Right thought the people of this country were going to go quietly under the thumb, they are hugely mistaken.
As a shrieking, hand wringing socialist/communist/anarchist you have ZERO credibility at this point not to mention the Dems ( featuring a crook and liar) LOST the election.
This temper tantrum was RUDE and disrespectful to all ticket holders who paid (in my opinion) way too much money to see a play.
If the snowflake left can't see their way to settle down and wait until our new president actually DOES something while in office that gives rise to protest instead of just acting like butt hurt toddlers then there's going to be nothing but angst and tooth gnashing, coca guzzling and pill popping for your foreseeable future.
I wish I owned stock in the companies that sell anti-anxiety drugs, cocoa producers and teddy bear makers as it looks to be a banner year for their bottom line!
I agree, it was inappropriate and disrespectful for people to openly voice their political concerns during a mans family outing. Then again, that's what happens when you enter a room full of bitter liberals.
Nah, that's not it. There was some booing & some applauding when Pence entered the main part of the theater. & the majority, I assume, who didn't know why there was booing &/or applause. It was a mixed house.
But of course your narrative plays better if it's all one thing or the other. Please carry on.
Nah, it was some members of the audience who booed or applauded Pence. The cast of Hamilton said only their lines during the play (TMK), & one cast member - the lead - addressed Pence after curtain call (the play was over), & asked the audience not to boo.

Tks, but that's the point. It was some members of the audience that booed (& applauded) Pence. It wasn't the cast booing - & the cast of Hamilton didn't interrupt the show @ all. The stand-in lead, as I understand, addressed Pence & the audience @ curtain call (the play was over).
The speech I read didn't sound insulting, & the stand-in asked the audience not to boo.
Yah, the Secret Service has a tough job - & it's likely going to get worse. Secret Service was already concerned that they didn't have enough bodies to cover all the candidates & venues - as the election wound to its conclusion. Given Trump's method of gaining power - I don't see that he nor Pence nor other high members of the Trump admin will be able to casually show up in public venues.
Trump's poisoned the well. There's no telling how long - if ever - it will take for the toxins to settle.
The tenets set by the creator of fascism do not align with the current political right in the U.S.
The issue with "liberalism opposing fascism" is, that is a reference to classical liberalism. The current left in the U.S. often leans towards statism, which aligns very well with fascism.
The divide is more along the lines of authoritarian versus libertarian, not left and right. Leftist politics in the US are often authoritarian while the right espouses more libertarian leaning views.
As evidenced by Mussolini's statements;
Mussolini as political statesman or spokesthing? No thanks - he wound up very badly indeed, & had to be rescued by Nazi paratroops. Which still didn't save him.
& so we should redefine Liberal & Conservative & Fascism & Communism? I don't see the point, unless you're going to rewrite all the texts that go with that literature - a very large task.
All so that we can call Liberalism a form of Fascism or Nazism? Double plus ungood, pal.

Are you confused about the topic at hand? No. Mussolini, as in the father of fascism.

No. It would seem that you have misunderstood the text you quoted.
