No surprise, New York has no support for Law & Order and is a Sanctuary City as well.

Yah, pleasure to meet you.

On Broadway? I suppose the people in charge of the Broadway play could have tried to stop the booing. The actor who addressed the audience @ curtain call did ask the audience to stop booing. & as I understand it, the lead actor wrote the play, composed the music, wrote the lyrics. So - if he's the head of the production crew too (he was absent that night, or @ least didn't play the lead), & if the stand-in acted in his place & with his permission? authorization? - then you could say that the people in charge did try stop the booing. With limited results, apparently - although there are reports of cheering @ the end of the stand-in's statement. I can't tell what was being applauded, though.

There's considerable difference between a movie & a play. Plays are sensitive to the audience's participation, for one - a movie is the same, until the medium it's on disintegrates. A play lives & breathes.

Ol' Hickory Stick? Isn't he the same person who as a boy suffered a sabre slash to the face because he wouldn't polish some Brit officer's boots? See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Jackson

"During the Revolutionary War, Jackson, at age thirteen, informally helped the local militia as a courier.[8] His eldest brother, Hugh, died from heat exhaustion during the Battle of Stono Ferry on June 20, 1779. He and his brother Robert were captured by the British and held as prisoners; they nearly starved to death in captivity. When Andrew refused to clean the boots of a British officer, the officer slashed at the youth with a sword, leaving him with scars on his left hand and head, as well as an intense hatred for the British.[9] While imprisoned, the brothers contracted smallpox."

(My emphasis - more @ the URL. They mention dueling there, but don't give a count.)

So - if you can show me the scars or signs of starvation or loss of family members or disease that Pence (or Trump, for that matter) suffered on behalf on his country @ a similar (or indeed, @ any age), I'll call it even. I know that Trump was exempted from service - which is OK, lots of people were exempt.

But I'm certain that it was Trump on the stump @ a rally, claiming to have more knowledge about ISIS than the competent US generals in charge of the War on Terror. That seemed to me to be way over the top - to coin a phrase.

Please tell... What civil liberties have you been denied since the President-Elect has won the election?

Seriously... The guy hasn't even been sworn into office yet and you are acting like he has already orchestrated his very own kristallnacht. Can we not wait until he actually does something that warrants such pseudo-outrage before ranting about it on public forums?
