Trump has stated that he will replace Obamacare with something better.

OK, what is it?

With all Americans covered with health care?

The name may change but the plan will be the same. Trumpcare?

He did say coverage for all.

With Paul Ryan and the GOP having majorities in both chambers, they will definitely try to eliminate it in order to throw milllions off of health insurance. Premiums will stay sky high because the reason health care is so unaffordable for people in America is because the drug and insurance companies bribe politicians.

The ACA will be tweaked, Medicaid expansion will contract and... not much will change.

Thats the same complacency that led to Hillary losing.

Its mind blowing to me how out of touch and lazy people are. The GOP is an extension of the super rich who HATE universal health care with a passion. Universal health care means that the economic establishment have one less whip to use against the workers. Its terrible for the ruling class. The ruling class need as many whips as possible to uphold a system of desperate and financially insecure workers.

I fully expect it to be repealed and hundreds of thousands will die as a result, unless the people stand up and fight back. It will be especially bad for all the people with horrible diseases that are costly. They will now die.

Nobody knows really. What we do know is that none of the theories that ACA was based on came to pass. Using ER for doctor visits was supposed to end and save billions. It didn't. Making the young and healthy buy insurance to subsidize sick people who were picked up by insurance companies was supposed to be the secret sauce to finally fix health care. It didn't. ACA was supposed to "bend" the cost curve. It didn't. To the extent that ACA was successful in insuring 20 million people, it was through the extension of Medicaid. You didn't need 3 years of fighting and tearing the nation apart to do that. Just throw in a trillion dollars into Medicaid and call it a day.

Some parts I hope stay but some parts can go the way of the wind.

Donald promised pre-existing conditions coverage will stay. This is most important.

I think the employer mandate to give insurance coverage to people who work over 30 hours needs to go as soon as possible. This part of the law ended up doing nothing to extend coverage and did a lot of structural damage to our unemployment rate.

Relax. Donald Trump is the best thing that ever happened to this country. He is going to move things around a little bit and make changes that will help this country run more smoothly. Give him a chance.
