A New York billionaire real estate mogul wearing a "Make America Great Again" pulled off a Brexit-style upset by drawing crowed of 30k+ people in towns that no one has heard of in Middle America. Incredible acting job. It's clear as day that he's going to spend the next 4 years exploiting his presidential status to build his businesses while, as a side gig, he signs every bill that the Republican Congress sends him. Genius. Currently, Kellyanne Conway is the one making all these appointments. The idea of an outsider candidate hiring outsider "smart people" to fix the nation's problems is a distant memory.

Are you interviewing for a job as an author of revisionist history books for the left? If you are, our schools are already full of crap books like that.

It is obvious you weren't paying the least bit of attention to Trump's campaign if that is your takeaway from this election, KonaldDuth.

As a ogroup, Congressional Republicans are not smart enough to pull that off.

Hmmm maybe if Clinton had heard of those towns and listened to the people that lived there .. she might have won??
Many of those people in "the middle of nowhere " voted for Obama in the past and switched over to Trump . Clinton didn't speak to their issues , like their jobs being sent overseas
TRUMP did

Interesting theory, but I don't think the GOP is that smart -- devious, but not smart.

As more and more threads are created with outrageous claims, outrageous requests, and some of the dumbest ideas I've ever heard of, it is clear to me that I have underestimated the absolute stupidity of some people in this country.

oh they are smart. Underestimate the big money donor class at your peril.

Its becoming clearer and clearer as every day passes that Donald is in this to build his wealth by government power. And the GOP will let him do that, and in return Donald will happily sign the bills that Pence, Ryan, McConnel and the rest of the lackeys of the corporate elites support. The working class is getting sold out by the moneyed elites who own these puppets, just like the last 40 years.
