I disagree with you on so much, but this you got. This is a very apt comparison.

Did you even read what I posted?

I said that I hope he performs better than I expect him to. I do mean that.

How is that delusional and hateful?

Go back and reread what I wrote. I do think that it's a bit early to be thinking he's going to be a huge success.

He's not done a thing yet that says "huge success."

He just gets into fights with Alec Baldwin and tweets crazy stuff like how he's going to cancel contracts he doesn't have any right to cancel.

Maybe I'm just too much of a realist, but that doesn't sound like he's "winning" just yet.

But, he may prove me wrong. I honestly hope he does.

You mean, like the last 8 have been for all the people who despise Obama?

I think it's fair to say that you do not support a given president. You don't have to.

Doesn't make them any less a president.

Isn't the USA great?

According to his detractors, and despite all evidence to the contrary, he's not been doing anything for the past 8 years.

Even though his predecessor took about triple the amount of vacation.

Facts are facts in that regard.

Let's see what Obama is up to since the election:

President Barack Obama, supporters push policies and appointments before Trump takes over | The Sacramento Bee

And, interestingly enough... not a single, late-night twitter battle over a comedy show.

After Obama won the election Fox News called him the Messiah and people were angry he was going to fly on Air Force One and live in the WH.

Obama has been old news for the last 7 years when we figured out he would do nothing.
